EYD2017

It's Felix for Germany!

Posted 16 March 2013 at 12:02

Felix Berning and Franziska Wolf were the two finalists, and the decision has been made that Felix is going to be the one to represent Germany in Gdansk this year.

Felix Berning started his dance education at the age of five, when he was taking Freestyle and Show Dance classes under the direction of Kirsten Klein. In 2010 he then started his education in Classical Ballet, under the direction of Linda Calder. He also attended the "Gymnasium-Essen-Werden" High School, which is the only High School in Germany where dance can be chosen as an A-level subject. He has won the German Show Dance Cup, and the German Show Dance Championships in the last two years, and achieved great success at the World Championship of Show Dance in Riesa in 2010 and 2012. At the moment, Felix is a coach and an active member of the Show Dance team "PerSe", in cooperation with Christian Wöhlecke.

Germany has won the Contest in 1999 with Katja Wünsche and Stegli Yohan. Could Felix win this Contest for the second time for his country?
