Michal Vach was chosen to represent Czech Republic at Eurovision Young Dancers 2017.
Michal Vach started to dance when he was 12 years old in the Flash Dance Company. After two years he started studying at the Dance Centre Prague Conservatory (grammar school) where he joined the Baby Ballet Prague, a company which is led by the artistic director Agurtzane Peréz Oloriz. Since the sixth grade he has been a member of the Ballet Prague Junior, a company of the best older students led by artistic director Viktor Svidró.
He had a chance to work with choreographers such as: Attila Egerhazi, Lidia Wos, Samuel Delwaux, Kevin Durwel, Marek Svobodník, Pavel Šmok, Vlasta Schneiderová. He also works with: Guy Shomroni, Jeanne Solan, Václav Janeček, Igor Vejsada, Veronika Iblová, Linda Svidró Schneider.
Thanks to the school companies, including cooperation with Prague Chamber Ballet he draws on his rich interpretative experience and participates in international workshops, for example the Gaga Movement and Ohad Naharin Repertoire.
Michal will perform a modern dance called Monologue, choreographed by Michal himself and Lenka Halašova. Max Richter composed the accompanying music, which is also called Monologue.
