Danila Kapustin will represent Germany in Eurovision Young Dancers 2017. We met him after his second day of rehearsals in Prague.

Danila Kapustin grew up in Lithuania where he started figure skating at the age of six and dancing ballet at the age of eight. Despite his young age had has already performed in Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and The Four Seasons.
In 2014 Danila moved to Germany to become a professional dancer and to begin studies at the famous State Ballet School in Berlin. What would Danila do if he wasn't dancing? "I think I'd be a figure skater or be into sports," he said.
Who inspires Danila? "I have many inspirations but I think Mikhail Baryshnikov would be the main one, he's an amazing dancer." When asked what his hopes are for the live final of Eurovision Young Dancers 2017, Danila replied: "Of course winning would be nice but it is not the main goal. This competition is such a good opportunity for young dancers like me, I am so looking forward to Saturday!"
On Saturday Danila will perform a ballet dance called Desde Otello. The accompanying music is called Amor dov'è la fe, composed by Claudio Monteverdi.
