The Final of the 9th Eurovision Young Dancers competition took place in the Linbury Studio Theater of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, on the 22rd of June, 2001. 

Ukraine and Ireland made their respective debuts, making this edition the largest to date with a record 18 countries participating.
This year participants were encouraged to perform new choreographies. Poland won the contest, followed by Belgium and the Netherlands in second and third place.
The jury consisted of:
